The Illinois Opportunity Project is hosting an Anti Graduated Income Tax Rally with State Reps. Allen Skillicorn (R-East Dundee) and Dan Ugaste (R-Geneva) along with policy expert and President of Wirepoints Ted Dabrowski.

“Governor Pritzker and the Chicago Democrats are at it again: A rain tax hike, property tax hike, gas tax hike, new plastic bag tax, and now a graduated income tax hike. Their only plan is to make you pay more,” said Rep. Skillicorn.

Governor Pritzker and his team have presented a false narrative that this bill will protect the middle class. The middle class has gotten hit with two income tax hikes in the past eight years and is still waiting for relief.

“I am hosting this forum so people know the facts behind the graduated income tax push and aren’t fooled by the myths,” said Rep. Allen Skillicorn.

Feedback and questions from attendees are highly encouraged. “Hearing feedback from constituents on big issues like this tax hike is essential, so we as lawmakers can adequately represent their voices in Springfield,” said Rep. Dan Ugaste.

If you are tired of paying some of the highest taxes in the nation to fund one of the most corrupt governments, join us on April 29th.
