Moms in public life bring unique skills and perspectives to the table. They make many sacrifices to do what they do, and are often subject to scrutiny over their decision to serve and raise a family.
In honor of Mother’s Day, we decided to go straight to the source. The Illinois Opportunity Project asked some of the mothers we work with to send us a video testimonial telling us in their own words “why they do what they do.”
